Position Description

We are on an exciting digital journey to transform our global operations and are seeking a highly skilled Operations Digitalization Consultant. Join us in shaping the future of our company and contributing to our mission of "Making Improvements in Life Possible."

The Role

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze operational processes, identifying opportunities for digitalization and automation.
  • Design and implement digital solutions to optimize manufacturing, supply chain, and quality management processes within the biotech industry.
  • Work closely with IT teams to integrate digital tools and technologies, ensuring seamless operation and data integrity.
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate digital solution functionality and performance.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users for newly implemented digital tools.
  • Stay informed about emerging biotech technologies and trends to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support the development and implementation of digitalization strategies to enhance operational efficiency.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Operations Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in leading digitalization projects within the biotech or pharma industry, including software development and off-the-shelf software implementation.
  • Proficiency in creating and interpreting technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for software in the pharma/biotech sector such as GMP, CSV, and GAMP5.
  • Proficient in scripting and programming for automation, data analysis, and system integration (e.g., Python, SQL, JavaScript is a plus).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in both German and English.
