IT System Administrator Linux (m/f/d) wanted!

Our client, a large German e-commerce company, is looking for immediate reinforcement for the Linux area in its IT Infrastructure & Services department throughout Germany.

Are you familiar with the administration of Linux servers and are you interested in cloud technologies?

A remote share of up to 80% is possible for this position.

Tasks

• As IT System Administrator Linux (m/f/d) you are responsible for the administration and optimization of the Linux server landscape
• You will manage and implement IT projects, including the migration of systems to the AWS cloud
• You will also drive the further development of the container platform and support the switch from Docker Swarm to Kubernetes
• The automation of IT processes with tools such as Packer, Terraform and Ansible is also part of your area of responsibility
• In addition, you will advise your team on a technical level and work closely with the product owner
• The analysis and elimination of malfunctions as well as continuous performance optimization round off your area of responsibility here
  
  

Qualifications

• You have successfully completed training as an IT specialist (m/f/d) for system integration or a comparable qualification
• You also have sound experience in the administration of Linux servers and common applications such as web servers and databases
• Ideally, you are familiar with automation solutions such as Packer, Terraform or Ansible and have already gained experience with container technologies such as Docker, Docker Swarm or Kubernetes
• You are characterized by your interest in cloud technologies (ideally AWS)
• In addition to your technical expertise, you are a team player and communicative
• Very good German and good English skills make it easier for you to work in your international team
