Your Responsibilities
Project Portfolio & Governance
- Establish, manage, and continuously develop a company-wide project portfolio management system for corporate projects
- Ensure prioritization, transparency of resources and budgets, and provide a solid basis for management decisions
- Facilitate project portfolio reviews, steering committees, and cross-functional coordination
- Align the project portfolio sustainably with the company’s strategy
- Further develop the Project Management Office (PMO) for corporate projects
- Enhance standardized governance, processes, methods, and reporting frameworks
- Advance suitable project management frameworks (classic, agile, hybrid) and tools
- Initiate, plan, manage, and successfully complete company-wide projects and programs
- Actively shape and steer transformation and change initiatives
- Ensure structured handover of project results to the line organization
- Advise and support departments on project and program management topics
- Enable the organization through coaching, training, and the establishment of company-specific project management standards
Your Profile
- Successfully completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable field
- At least 5 years of experience in PMO or in managing programs/transformation projects (e.g., S/4HANA)
- Strong knowledge of common project management standards; certification (e.g., PMI, IPMA) is an advantage
- Experience in project portfolio management, governance, processes, and methodologies
- Structured, self-reliant working style with strong decision-making ability and accountability
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken
- Resilient and able to handle pressure, while being empathetic when interacting with diverse stakeholders
- Strong communication and persuasion skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and facilitate pragmatic solutions
- Experience in change management or organizational development is a plus
