Join the DHL Freight Global team as a Central Tender Specialist (f/m/d) in Bonn.

This is a 12-month fixed-term position (parental leave cover).

In this role, you will manage tender projects end-to-end, ensuring timely submission with high-quality, market-aligned proposals.

Your tasks:

• Coordinate international bid projects from initiation to submission, ensuring hghi-quality proposals are delivered on time and aligned with customer requirements.
• Work with different teams (sales, finance, operations) to prepare commercial and pricing proposals
• Review tender requirements and help translate them into tasks and timelines
• Assist in managing project activities, tracking deadlines, costs, and deliverables
• Support the analysis of financial and pricing data to ensure competitive and viable proposals
• Collect and organize relevant inputs (commercial, financial, technical) from stakeholders
• Prepare status updates and documentation on tender progress for management
• Use and maintain tools and processes for tender and pricing management
• Contribute ideas to improve processes and increase efficiency
  
  
  

Our perfect match:

• You hold a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Logistics or a comparable field
• You have 2–3 years of relevant experience, ideally in Sales, Tender Management, or a similar commercial/logistics environment
• You are highly motivated, proactive, and quick to learn, with a structured and goal-oriented working style
• You bring strong analytical skills and a good understanding of numbers and commercial topics
• You have a customer-focused mindset and a strong service orientation
• You are an effective communicator, able to collaborate with different stakeholders across teams and countries
• You are fluent in English and German, both written and spoken
• This position is based in Bonn and requires on-site presence 1–2 days per week
