Position: Assembly/Repair Technician

Tasks

• Assembly of mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies and devices in accordance with assembly instructions, drawings and bills of materials
• Commissioning and testing at device and system level, as well as carrying out interface tests in accordance with test specifications
• Timely processing and reporting of production orders
• Troubleshooting of simple electronic assemblies/devices using circuit diagrams/signal diagrams, for both new and existing equipment, as well as their repair and documentation in SAP
• Manufacture of test cables in accordance with assembly instructions, changeover instructions, drawings and bills of materials
• Modification of PCBs in accordance with assembly instructions, changeover instructions, drawings and bills of materials
• Recording of one's own work to document results, e.g. preparation of production, test and inspection reports
  
  

Requirements

• Professional experience in the assembly of electronic sub-assemblies
• Basic knowledge of English (spoken and written)
• Basic knowledge of MS Office and SAP
• Several years' professional experience in the assembly of electronic sub-assemblies
• Proficiency in SMD and THT soldering techniques
• A goal-oriented approach to work, as well as an open-minded attitude and the ability to work well in a team
• A high degree of care, precision and quality awareness
• Proficiency in the use of tools and test equipment (electrical, mechanical, optical)
