The Role
As Digital Manager (m/f/d) within the Consumer Products Division, you will be the operative expert of our owned digital ecosystem in DACH. Your role operates at brand level — you will be the expert for websites, search and LLM within the brand consumer engagement team for American Makeup Brands. You are a trusted strategic partner, translator of digital trends into local brand action, and a connector who brings the best out of cross-functional collaboration — across brand teams, internal expert functions, and external partners alike.
Your Responsibilities
At L’Oréal, we know that true innovation and creativity arise from diversity. That’s why we actively foster a work environment grounded in diversity, equity and inclusion. We value the unique perspectives and talents of our employees as the key to our success.
Discrimination or harassment of any kind, for example, based on sex, skin color, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, origin, disability, or other protected characteristics, is not tolerated at our company. Diversity and inclusion are firmly embedded in our corporate culture. If you’d like to learn more about this and our initiatives in this area, please visit here.

Your Responsibilities
- GEO & Search Strategy: You define the brands’ Search & GEO strategy to maximize brand visibility across AI-driven search environments and act as the expert translating search dynamics into actionable brand strategies.
- Digital Services & Owned Website: You develop the strategy for D2C brand websites focusing on consumer experience and first-party data, ensuring UI/UX optimizations, and building content roadmaps in collaboration with the divisional CDO team.
- Reviews & Ratings: You execute the brands' Ratings & Reviews strategy integrating consumer sentiment insights into broader media planning and establishing frameworks to use reviews as structured assets for SEO & GEO.
- External Partner Management: You steer and coordinate external digital agencies and technology partners (CMS providers, UX/UI agencies), serving as the bridge between brand marketing, IT, and external partners to ensure smooth execution.
- Performance & Best Practices: You monitor and analyze performances, develop best practices, and work closely with the CPD CDO team to bring strategic frameworks for Large Language Models (LLMs) into action.
- Professional Experience: You bring 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, ideally within FMCG, Beauty, or Retail, with a strong understanding of modern search strategies, owned website ecosystems, and platforms like Bazaarvoice.
- AI Affinity & Tech-Savviness: You have genuine enthusiasm for AI tools and prompt engineering. You master digital tools but always think in terms of brand impact and business outcomes.
- Stakeholder & Partner Management: You have a strong track record in managing external agencies and technology partners (briefing, steering, evaluation) and excel at cross-functional collaboration across brand teams and internal functions.
- Consumer-Centric Mindset: You are "Consumer First", understanding what drives consumers and how digital touchpoints shape purchasing decisions.
- Agile & Team-Oriented: You bring a strong team spirit, celebrate collective success, and possess a "Test, Learn & Scale" mindset to experiment with purpose. You are fluent in English.
- A permanent employment contract in a crisis-resistant, growing market with a comprehensive range of social benefits.
- An attractive and competitive remuneration package as well as a voluntary profit-sharing scheme.
- Individual personal and professional development, a strong learning curve, strong team spirit and an open, cooperative corporate culture.
- Diverse national and international development perspectives.
