What You Will Be Doing

• Constructing highly precise Academic Data Reports and performing systematic analysis to identify issues, detect anomalies, and initiate corrections within 48 hours
• Leading quick-response "rescue" sessions and facilitating post-assessment coaching calls to eliminate blockers, distinguish knowledge gaps from mistakes, and sustain student motivation
• Assessing and deploying new educational applications and content while creating AI/LLM prototypes to advance learning methodologies and address specific challenges
• Collaborating with leadership to enhance tools, dashboards, and mastery benchmarks as the AI tutor advances

• Grading papers, drafting lesson plans, or administering traditional educational programs—AI and innovation power our approach

Curriculum Specialist Key Responsibilities

Accelerate student learning outcomes through AI-powered analysis and real-time academic intelligence, validated by improved metrics including 2× learning velocity, app engagement, lesson comprehension, response accuracy, and decreased negative learning patterns across the Alpha Anywhere network.

Basic Requirements

• Proven experience in data science or comparable role, education, EdTech, or a student-support position combining analytical and interpersonal elements
• Proficiency in Google Sheets data analysis (lookups, pivot tables, filtering)
• High emotional intelligence, strong communication skills and a kid-friendly coaching style
• Experience building workflows and automations with AI
• At least 1 year experience working closely with K-8 students
• Available to work during required core hours of 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Central Time, Monday through Friday.
  
  

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Foundation in learning science, educational principles, or proven success enhancing outcomes through data-driven strategies
• Experience with Generative AI, prompting techniques, and basic coding skills (Python, JavaScript, etc.) for querying AI APIs

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
