We are looking for a skilled developer with hands-on experience in backend or frontend development, with a track record in designing, building, and maintaining scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge in developing within the InterSystems technology but is not a requirement. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable enterprise solutions.

About The Role
In this opportunity as a Software Development Engineer, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications within the InterSystems IRIS platform.
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers.
- Implement automated tests as part of delivery.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Integrate with relational and NoSQL databases such as InterSystems IRIS, PostgreSQL or S3.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.
- Ensure application security and data protection.
You’re a fit for the role of a Software Development Engineer if you have the following required qualifications:
- A few years of professional experience as a developer is a plus.
- Experience with InterSystems IRIS, Caché, or Ensemble is a plus.
- Experience with supply chain interoperability formats (EDIFACT/EANCOM, XML, X12, IDOC) and/or healthcare interoperability formats (HL7, FHIR, X12) is a plus.
- Experience with interoperability protocols (SFTP, AS2, HTTPS) and/or messaging queues (RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ) is a plus.
- Some experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Some knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Successfully pass an extended background check
