As an international company with more than 50 years of experience and more than 15.000 installed waterjet and abrasive waterjet systems Flow is the world leader in development, manufacture and sales of ultrahigh- pressure (UHP) waterjet technology.

We are looking for the following person in our Darmstadt Office (Germany):

• Your Tasks:
• Handle general entries under German GAAP knowing of US GAAP is a plus but not required
• Prepare annual financial statements and statistics according to HGB, as well as monthly VAT and annual tax returns in collaboration with external partners
• Support internal and external audits, acting as the contact person for auditors in cooperation with the head of the finance department
• Serve as the interface between the accounting team and other departments in Germany

• Your Profile:
• University degree in accounting/finance or training as an accountant
• At least 5 years of experience in general accounting
• Confident handling of MS Office: Outlook, Excel
• Analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in German and in English (oral and written)
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a team in an international environment
• High quality standards and awareness
• Good at transferring knowledge, pragmatic approach, prioritizing and working to deadlines
• Proven experience in financial accounting
• Familiarity with German GAAP
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with various departments
