You as part of tonies:

As a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer – Decorations, you will play a key role within our tooling and decoration team. This position is centered on leading the development of new decoration technologies, overseeing their implementation with suppliers, and ensuring budget-conscious, cost-effective solutions.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and effective communicator with high technological expertise and a proven track record in successfully managing complex projects.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Research new technology: Searching for new automatic decoration technology based on our product portfolio, with a focus on efficiency, quality, and scalability.
• Implementation: Implementation of the new decorations technology in our NPI Process include define efforts in the development process
• Innovation Management: Work closely with the Product Management team to identify new product opportunities, assess feasibility, and contribute to the ideation and concept development process.
• Cross-Functional Project Management: Lead project teams in the development and implementation of new technologies and automatization of production, ensuring all deliverables are met
• Supplier Development: Onboarding and development of our global figurine suppliers with a focus on manufacturing, scalability, quality, and costs. Support the supplier and optimize the production through the manufacturing process.
• Continuous Improvement: Evaluate project performance and processes, and provide recommendations for improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  
  

What we are looking for:

• You have already gained at least 5 years of professional experience in technology research and project management
• Strong Project management skills
• Experienced in the implementation of new technologies into running processes
• You work in a structured, organized manner and can set priorities independently
• You have very good German and English skills
• Willing to travel approximately 30% of your time (suppliers, business partner)
• And last but not least, you are able to be on site regularly in our office in Schwäbisch Gmünd to coordinate with the team
