Summary

We are looking for a “Machining Mechanic (f/m/d)” for the “HOV Production Sights” division at the Wetzlar site as soon as possible.

In the “HOV Production Sights” division, riflescopes, target optics and optronic equipment such as residual light and thermal imaging clip-on systems, as well as fire control systems for hand-held weapons, but also unstabilized periscopes for armored vehicles and calibration technology for artillery are developed and manufactured.

Your Tasks

• Edge centering of optics
• Selection of measuring and testing equipment for intermediate and final testing
• Bonding lenses in frames
• Cylindrical grinding, flat grinding, conventional
• Conventional milling
• Carrying out final inspections and quality assurance
• Completion of test reports
• Cleaning, assembly, adjustment and tuning of optics
• Collaboration in the continuous improvement process
  
  

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic or cutting machine operator or similar
• Experience in the assembly of optical, mechanical devices advantageous
• Good basic PC skills (SAP and Excel)
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• High willingness to learn and flexibility
• Very good German skills
