NET CHECK is headquartered in Berlin and is part of the NC GROUP, an owner-managed group of companies with a total of over 180 employees at five locations in Germany and one in Belgrade, Serbia. To further support our dynamic team we are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Telecom Engineer with expertise in 3GPP standards and software development.

Job Summary: The ideal candidate will be responsible for development and implementation of next-generation telecommunication solutions while working closely with software developers and product managers to enhance product portfolio. This role requires a strong technical background in 3GPP standards, network protocols, and software development to drive innovation and scalability.

Responsibilities

• 3GPP Standard Implementation: Design, develop, and integrate software solutions, ensuring compliance with 3GPP standard.
• Software Development & Integration: Develop and maintain software solutions for telecom applications, leveraging programming languages such as Python or C++.
• Protocol & Standards Compliance: Ensure adherence to 3GPP standards and best practices in telecom software development.
• Collaboration: Work closely with software developers and product managers to integrate and enhance 5G solutions.
• Research & Innovation: Stay updated with emerging telecom trends, 5G advancements, and software development techniques to drive continuous innovation.
  
  

Your profile

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in telecommunications engineering, 5G technologies, and software development.
• Deep understanding of 5G NR, LTE, 4G/3G architectures and protocols.
• Experience with 3GPP standards for 5G network design and implementation.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++.
• Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP/2).
• Experience with Docker for containerization and deployment of applications.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• High attention to detail with a focus on quality and reliability.
• Knowledge of AI/ML applications in telecom for network optimization is desired.
• Hands-on experience with Qualcomm tools like QXDM, QCAT, QPST is a plus.
• Prior experience with mobile network operators or telecom vendors is desired.
• Experience in developing telecom applications for network management, monitoring, or optimization is a plus.
