Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Factory Controller to oversee financial operations at our production site in Minden, Germany. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial performance analysis and optimization, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making of one of our core production sites within the global Business Line Instrumentation.

The work model for the role is: hybrid

Your responsibilities:

• Oversee financial operations and lead the finance team for a production site valued at $80 million USD
• Be a key business partner to the factory manager in determining the strategy, developing an effective business model and translating the strategy into business plans and measurable targets
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and collaborate with production managers, supply chain, engineering and product management to optimize cost efficiency across multiple product lines
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards
  
  

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of financial principles and practices (US Gaap and HGB)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in German is required; proficiency in English is preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
