As a Cabin Crew Specialist – Main Themes Mobile Devices, Reporting & Cabin OPS, you will be responsible for managing all IT-related activities, including strategic planning, coordination, and oversight of IT projects. You will optimise IT processes in the back office, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness, while also handling and prioritising IT requests from various departments. A key focus will be minimising disruptions to iPads and developing measures to ensure smooth operational workflows. You will also manage and maintain data and documents in the back-office system Vector. Additionally, you will support Cabin Crew Training and Operations, planning and conducting training sessions, managing uniforms, and assisting with various operational tasks.

About The Job

  • Review, Analysis, and Processing of IT Cabin and IQSMS Reports: Responsible for the thorough review, analysis, and processing of IT Cabin and IQSMS reports. This includes providing detailed feedback to Cabin Crews to promote continuous improvements and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Support and Development of Various IT Projects: Actively involved in the support and development of IT projects such as the Cabin App, iPad support, management of Smile, and other applications. The goal is to enhance the efficiency and user-friendliness of these tools and implement innovative solutions.
  • Point of Contact and Support for iOS Updates, UATs, Bug Fixing, App Releases, iPad Distribution, Rollouts, MDM Support, and 2nd-Level iPad Support: Responsible for coordinating and executing iOS updates, User Acceptance Tests (UATs), bug fixing, app releases, and iPad distributions. Ensuring smooth operations and timely problem resolution through comprehensive MDM support and 2nd-level iPad support.
  • Administrative Tasks in the Back-Office System: Performing administrative tasks in the back-office system, including creating new report structures, user management, and process optimization. The aim is to improve internal workflows and increase efficiency.
  • Processing in the Back-Office System Vector: Managing and updating all vPos manuals and documents in the back-office system Vector. Conducting vPos update tests to ensure the accuracy and currency of the documentation.
  • Close Collaboration and Exchange with Various Departments and InfoTec: Promoting effective communication and collaboration with various departments and the IT department (InfoTec) to achieve common goals and successfully implement projects.
  • Support for Social Partner Preparation and Follow-Up: Preparing and following up on social partner meetings, including creating materials, presentations, and minutes on operational processes to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the meetings.
  • Creation and Provision of Cabin Crew Communications: Responsible for creating and distributing communication materials for the Cabin Crew, such as TUI Cabin News, Service and Product information, OPS Notams, BlueTams, BBC, etc. Working closely with various departments to provide relevant and up-to-date information.
  • Support for Efficient Mailbox Handling and Telephone Availability: Ensuring smooth communication and support for administrative tasks through efficient mailbox handling and telephone availability.
  • Support in Recruitment, Seasonal Selection, and Potential Development Measures for Cabin Crew: Assisting in the recruitment of new Cabin Crews, selection of seasonal staff, and planning and implementation of development measures to advance the cabin personnel.


About You

  • You have completed studies in computer science or a comparable degree.
  • You have experience in office administration and project management, particularly with complex projects involving interdisciplinary teams, preferably in an international environment.
  • You have strong IT skills and affinity, and are proficient in MS Office.
  • You are fluent in English.
