Erlanger Stadtwerke is a commercial enterprise of the city of Erlangen with an annual turnover of over 350 million euros. The company's task is to supply our customers with electricity, heat, natural gas and water. We are responsible for the implementation of local public transport in Erlangen, operate Erlangen's public baths and provide services in the field of telecommunications.

IT Support Specialist (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Analysis, evaluation and resolution of problems in 1st and 2nd level support for approx. 750 users on site, by telephone and remotely
• Accepting, documenting and processing internal customer inquiries on the phone (hotline) or via ticket system (Matrix 42)
• User support and instruction in the use of the software used and in the handling of IT workstation equipment
• Ensuring smooth IT processes in day-to-day business
• Installation and configuration of hardware and software in the client environment
• Managing internal and external partners and service providers
• Active Directory management and support of the printer environment
  
  

We expect

• Successfully completed training as an IT specialist (m/f/d) or comparable training
• Initial experience in IT support
• Knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, Outlook / Exchange online, M365, Active Directory / Entra ID, client hardware, peripherals and printers
• Basic knowledge of networks (LAN, WLAN, DNS/DHCP) and IT security
• Open and communicative cooperation in our team as well as a high level of service orientation in supporting our users
• Independent, conceptual and structured work
