The responsibilities range from raw material purchasing to supplier management and plant purchasing to value engineering.
Your Role And Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities range from raw material purchasing to supplier management and plant purchasing to value engineering.
Your Role And Key Responsibilities
- Implementing the global Vertical Integration Strategy for Lithium and Manganese
- Converting and refining for PowerCo demand to ensure material availability, cost targets, and ESG standards
- Implementing commodity and procurement strategies for new products and materials, requiring solutions in mining, raw materials, conversion, refining, and specialty chemicals
- Building and developing an organization with diverse skills, including raw material experts, mining engineers, analysts, and specialty chemicals engineers
- A BSc, MSc, or PhD degree in mining, metallurgy, chemistry or a related field with several years of professional experience in a comparable position
- In-depth knowledge in the procurement of lithium and manganese, including market analysis, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiations
- Experience in building and leading a team of professionals, including raw material experts and mining engineers, to manage complex project
- Fluent English for negotiations
- Basic knowledge of German desirable
- Additional foreign languages are desirable
- Professional experience in the chemical or mining industry
