The Department of Theoretical and Computational Biophysics headed by Helmut Grubmüller is inviting applications for a
Postdoc (f/m/x) in the field of Theory and Methods for Non-equilibrium Theory and Atomistic Simulations of Complex Biomolecules
Activities And Responsibilities
Possible projects are variational free energy methods, thermodynamics of solvation shells, constant-pH simulation methods, Markovian thermodynamics, as well as functional mechanisms of the ribosome, fatty acid synthase, CRISPR/Cas, or intrinsically disordered proteins.

Eligible candidates have strong skills in computational molecular (bio)physics, statistical mechanics, scientific computing and also a keen interest in interdisciplinary research and collaboration with experimental groups.

Position details
This Postdoc position is limited to two years with a possibility of extension. Payment and benefits are based on the German Public Service Payscale (TVöD Bund) guidelines. We would like to fill the position as soon as possible, but the exact start date is flexible.
