Company: Our client is an industrial IoT company founded in Hamburg in 2015, which has received funding and is looking to grow the Development team. They help manufacturing companies achieve their digital goals in the most efficient way. Current clients are big and small production companies from the Automotive, Medical, and Food sectors. Product: The company develops connectivity solutions for data-driven industry services. They built a product that is a gateway software solution for industrial plants and machines (API for factories), which allows integrating data from the machines to the client's IT system. The installation of this product in a factory closes the gap between the high security requirements in manufacturing and the connected world of digital services. It acts as a translator between protocols and administrative layers, allowing easy, accurate and controlled data access. This product became a key data hub for today's production environments and digital business models in the industry.

Type of contract: Permanent remote position.

As a Product Marketing Manager you shape and direct the marketing strategies for the company software solution, significantly contributing to sales successes and brand image, while closely collaborating with engineers, sales and customer success manager to swiftly meet evolving market demands and needs.

Your main tasks:

Develop and strengthen product positioning, messaging and value for the product brand “Connectware”. This also includes observing market trends and competitor positionings, offerings and GTMs.

Deliver product content necessary for mid- and bottom of funnel to improve conversion and assure a smooth and fast customer journey

Drive thought leadership positioning with technical, product related activities and engage as ambassador on social media and in IoT/user communities

Coordinate and set-up release communication in strong collaboration with the product and engineering team

Support sales, presales and partner with product-related material, assure that customers understand the value of the product

Requirements5+ years experience in B2B technology marketing, ideally as product marketer

Technical knowledge to understand and communicate about topics like DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, SRE and digitalization of manufacturing

Strong understanding of market principles and best practices, with a passion for product marketing and demand generation

Excellent written and verbal communicator in German and English (min. C1 Level), with the ability to create compelling content and copy tailored to IT personas

Marketing skill set includes at least foundational knowledge of growth marketing, performance marketing and demand generation, to set-up campaigns and landing pages autonomously

Bonus points for

Previous experience in startup or growth company with hands-on mentality and high pace

Strong project planning and management skills

Ability to build relationships with functions outside of marketing, including product and engineering as well as sales and customer success
