Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting a Business Technology Manager for our location in Neuss - Germany

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Business Technology Manager to join our dynamic IT team in the pharmaceutical industry. As the liaison between our IT department and commercial business, you will play a pivotal role in driving the technology strategy in the German market within our Innovative Medicine Business Technology division at Johnson & Johnson. In this exciting position, you will closely collaborate with the Head of Technology and business leaders to develop and define the vision and goals for your assigned function/market. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around strategic management and prioritization of demands to ensure seamless alignment of business and IT strategies.

As a Business Technology Manager you play a crucial role in driving innovation and efficiency through the effective use of technology within our organization.

Responsibilities

• Leading technology projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Developing and managing the technology budget, optimizing spending, and ensuring cost-effective solutions.
• Collaborating with business partners to identify technology needs and opportunities for improvement.
• Developing and implementing technology strategies aligned with the business objectives and goals of the organization.
• Facilitating the adoption of new technologies and processes within the organization.
  
  

Qualifications

Requirements

• Master's/Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Informatics/Technology, Business Management, Pharmaceutical Sciences).
• Proven background of 5 years + in business technology management, project management, or a related role.
• Exhibit a strong understanding of the (pharmaceutical) industry and the unique technology needs it presents.
• Possess excellent communication and partnership skills to collaborate optimally with business leaders and IT teams.
• Exhibit critical thinking abilities and a curiosity about optimally prioritizing demands to enhance business and IT alignment.
• Embrace change and actively promote new technological opportunities.
• Display strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions, collaborating closely with business partners to prepare compelling funding requests. Language Requirements:
• Fluency in German and English
• While experience or knowledge of CRM Systems, Marketing Automation Systems, and Digital Asset and Data Analytics platforms would be an advantage, please note that prior exposure to these specific tools is not a requirement for the role.
