Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
This position is full-time or part-time with a minimum of 30h/week.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- You are responsible for the development of the MR Sequence Framework within our application ecosystem
- Through close collaboration with internal sequence development teams and international partners, you ensure the right functionality of our SDK for MR sequence development
- Together with the agile team, you are in charge for all additional software development activities such as exploration, refinement, testing, documentation, and monitoring
- You ensure software quality and maintainability of the ecosystem through principles and technologies of modern software engineering, such as Agile methods, Test-Driven Development, automation, DevOps, CI/CD, and containerization

Your qualifications and experience:
- You have a university degree in medical engineering, physics, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
- You have many years of professional experience with MRI imaging techniques and possess a very profound knowledge of digital image processing as well as excellent expertise in MRI physics
- Alternatively, you hold a Ph.D. combined with several years of professional experience in this field
- Your broad understanding of modern software development methods has been demonstrated by you through numerous practical applications programmed in C++ and the development of MRI sequences, ideally using MR IDEA and MR ICE
- Ideally, you possess deep knowledge of agile development methodologies and are familiar with the unique aspects of software development for medical devices and applications
