The Field Service Engineer is responsible for providing professional support for our GeneXpert product line and IT solutions. Responsibilities include installation, repair, and maintenance of Cepheid diagnostic equipment.

This position is part of the Field Service Department and will be located Remote in Nürnberg /Würzburg area. At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

• Be part of a team that consistently provides the highest level of support and service to our customers
• Perform installation, preventive maintenance, and repair on Cepheid systems and solutions
• Manage customer relationship and drive customer satisfaction by coordinating with other departments (Sales, Technical Support)
• Travel regularly to customer sites within assigned territory
  
  

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

• Educational background in the technical or scientific field
• Able to understand documents for installation, set-up and troubleshooting of technical equipment
• Highly organized and able to work independently
• Proficient computer skills and basic network understanding
• Fluent German reading and writing & English level
  
  

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Working with CRM system
