Responsibilities

BASF Aroma Ingredients is a leading supplier of high-quality and innovative aroma ingredients for the flavor and fragrance industry. Our team bundles all business management activities of Global Product Management, Regional Product Management and Technical Marketing for the Core Aroma Ingredients Portfolio (Citral Value Chain based).

• In your position as a Global Technical Marketing Manager, you are the first address of all technical enquiries for the Core Aroma Ingredients portfolio (Citral Value Chain based), providing technical support for internal and external stakeholders and connecting technical understanding of our products with the needs of our customers.
• You are responsible for the collaboration in cross-functional teams, leading and supporting projects and processes with regulatory, quality, technology, operations, supply chain, and sales functions.
• One of your tasks is the management of product specifications, harmonizing market expectations and customer needs with typical product profiles and established standards.
• Furthermore, you get to coordinate and facilitate technical customer enquiries (i.e., product quality, application performance, handling, etc.), drive non conformance management (NCM) across all functions, maximizing value and ensuring positive customer experience.
• Leading the technical value proposition (TVP) management, enabling the sales teams globally, and continuously drive the Change Management (QPEN) are part of your role, as well.
• In addition, you support communication, positioning, and promotions of the Core Aroma Ingredients product portfolio, incl. trainings and trade shows.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• degree in science or technology
• relevant work and project management and first leadership experience in the flavour and fragrance (F&F) industry
• knowledge of the departments specific software, as well as in the use of project management software and document management systems
• experienced in change management
• understanding of the the unit's products, technologies and customers
• advanced German and English skills, basic French skills
