Cardiovascular diseases are the most common cause of death in Western countries. The Institute of Experimental Cardiology and the Collaborative Research Center 1550 "Molecular Circuits of Heart Disease" are dedicated to researching the molecular circuits of various congenital and acquired forms of heart failure. The projects of the CRC1550 are located at the medical faculties in Heidelberg and Mannheim, at the EMBL and at the DKFZ. The Institute and the coordination office of the CRC are looking for support in the administrative and organizational areas.

Your Tasks

• Support on-going projects (budget monitoring, regular email exchanges)
• Organization of events (e.g. international conferences, seminars and retreats)
• Maintenance of the Intitute and CRC's homepages
• Organization of equal opportunity measures
• Preparation of reports on the use of funds
• Participation in the preparation and processing of project proposals

Your Profile

• Completed vocational education and experience in the administrative or accounting field or comparable qualification (e.g. office management assistant, foreign language secretary, administrative assistant)
• Confident handling of MS Word, Excel and Outlook, ideally SAP R/3 and/or Illustrator knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
• Openness, strong communication and organisational skills
• Independent, reliable and result-oriented working style
• Ideally professional experience in finance / third-party funding management at public research institutions
