Your Responsibilities

- Lead, coach, and develop the Payroll team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative work environment.
- Ensure the timely, accurate, and compliant execution of German payroll operations.
- Coordinate and oversee European payroll activities in collaboration with local stakeholders and external payroll providers.
- Ensure compliance with payroll-related tax, social security, and labor law requirements.
- Plan, coordinate, and support payroll tax audits, social security audits, as well as internal and external audits.
- Partner closely with Finance to ensure accurate payroll accounting, account reconciliations, and resolution of payroll-related discrepancies.
- Continuously optimize payroll processes, systems, and interfaces to enhance efficiency, quality, and compliance.
- Lead and contribute to national and international payroll and HR projects.
- Prepare and analyze payroll-related reports, KPIs, and management information.
- Several years of professional experience in payroll, including in-depth knowledge of German payroll processes and regulations.
- Proven experience in leading, coaching, and developing teams.
- Strong knowledge of German payroll tax, social security, and labor law requirements.
- Experience working with international payroll organizations and managing external payroll providers.
- Experience supporting payroll tax and social security audits as well as compliance reviews.
- Strong project management and process improvement skills.
- Strong understanding of payroll systems, processes, and interfaces, with the ability to drive system enhancements and digital solutions. Experience with P&I LOGA is considered an advantage.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style.
- Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
