Operating from any location with reliable internet access, you will convert vast quantities of AI-generated performance metrics into precise, well-timed actions that guide each learner toward 90% mastery and higher. When a learner encounters an obstacle, you will initiate a live coaching session, remove the barrier immediately, and restore their momentum with renewed confidence. At the same time, you will analyze detailed student performance data streams, identifying hidden trends that unlock each child's capabilities and engineering next-generation AI solutions capable of doubling learning velocity.

What You Will Be Doing

• Creating highly precise Academic Data Reports and performing systematic evaluations to identify problems, detect irregularities, and initiate corrections within 48 hours
• Leading rapid-intervention coaching calls and facilitating post-assessment sessions to eliminate obstacles, distinguish knowledge deficits from simple mistakes, and sustain student motivation
• Assessing and integrating new educational applications and resources while building AI/LLM prototypes to advance learning methodologies and address specific obstacles
• Collaborating with leadership to enhance tools, dashboards, and mastery benchmarks as the AI tutor platform develops

• Attending prolonged meetings or delivering standardized presentations with no visibility into actual results
• Marking assignments, drafting lesson plans, or administering conventional educational programs—AI and innovation are the foundation of our approach
• Working purely at the strategic level without execution or being confined to repetitive administrative duties—this position demands hands-on engagement and agility
  
  

Learning Specialist Key Responsibilities

Enhance student learning outcomes through AI-powered analysis and live academic intelligence, evidenced by improved metrics including 2× learning velocity, application engagement, lesson mastery, response precision, and diminished negative learning behaviors across the Alpha Anywhere network.

Basic Requirements

• At least 1 year in a role involving coaching, training, or instruction
• At least 1 year directly and repeatedly supporting K-8 students through recurring one-to-one or small-group academic coaching focused on learning habits, motivation, self-direction, test behavior, or executive-function routines; whole-class teaching alone is not sufficient
• At least 1 year in a role that combined hands-on data analysis with direct student or learner support
• At least 1 year using Google Sheets or Excel for data analysis, including lookups, filters, pivot tables, charts, or similar functions
• At least 6 months using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot in professional workflows to produce real work outcomes, not only casual search or writing polish
• Available to work from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Central Time, Monday through Friday
  
  

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Background in learning science, educational principles, or demonstrated success improving outcomes through data-driven strategies
• Experience with Generative AI, prompting techniques, and basic coding skills (Python, JavaScript, etc.) for querying AI APIs

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
