We are looking for you for an apprenticeship as a construction mechanic (m/f/d) at our headquarters in Augsburg from 01.09.2027.

What can you expect during your apprenticeship?

• In the first year of your apprenticeship, you will learn the basic skills in the areas of metal and steel construction, welding technology, sheet metal processing, etc.
• You will work in our sheet metal working department - you'll learn in practice and will be a important member of our team.
• Our dedicated trainers will help you with all your questions and challenges.
• Parallel to your training in the company, you will attend vocational school.
• Your tasks include, for example:
• Millimeter-precise cutting of metals and sheet metal
• Bending, rounding, edging, drilling and joining sheet metal and components
• Reading and understanding technical drawings and parts lists
• Manufacturing steel and sheet metal constructions and producing individual components as well as assembling the parts
• Application of various welding processes
  

The apprenticeship usually lasts 3.5 years. If you perform well, it is possible to shorten the training to 3 years.

What You Should Bring

• You have at least completed middle school with good grades in technical subjects such as math, physics and crafts/technology.
• Technical understanding and manual skills are important for your desired profession.
• A little bit of English wouldn't hurt either, as you may come across some technical drawings and terms in English and we work in an international environment.
• You work carefully and responsibly on tasks that are assigned to you.
• An office workplace is too boring for you in the long run, you prefer to be physically involved.

And after the apprenticeship?

Our apprentices are taken on for at least one year after completing their training normally. However, most of our trainees stay with us much longer and we are happy to accompany them through their career. But the end of the apprenticeship is by no means the end of the line - further training is important to us, which is why we have created the Alpine Campus. There, you will find qualification measures tailored to your current career level, so that you can always stay up to date.
