- Through subordinate activity managers, is responsible for overall management of fiscal resources and direction of the Directorate, Morale Welfare and Recreation (DMWR) Community Recreation Division.
- Provides leadership and supervision, and communicates mission and organization goals to subordinates.
- Provides policies and guidance to ensure attainment of the established objectives of the division.
- Develops policy and strategic plans addressing resources, facilities, and programs.

- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Must be willing and able to work evenings, weekends, and Special MWR events.

A Qualified Candidate Must Possess The Following
- One (1) year work experience directing/managing one or more Directorate of Family, Morale, Welfare and Recreation (DFMWR) Recreation Programs for a garrison, or similar civilian operation.
- Willing to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually thereafter.
- Work Experience directing/managing a Community Recreation Division at a Garrison, or similar civilian community, for at least one year.
- Three (3) years of supervisory experience.
- Demonstrates proficiency in understanding non-appropriated fund Operations to include NAF Major Construction and Capital Purchase Minor Construction (CPMC)
