Duties

• Through subordinate activity managers, is responsible for overall management of fiscal resources and direction of the Directorate, Morale Welfare and Recreation (DMWR) Community Recreation Division.
• Provides leadership and supervision, and communicates mission and organization goals to subordinates.
• Provides policies and guidance to ensure attainment of the established objectives of the division.
• Develops policy and strategic plans addressing resources, facilities, and programs.

Qualifications

A Qualified Candidate Must Possess The Following

• One (1) year work experience directing/managing one or more Directorate of Family, Morale, Welfare and Recreation (DFMWR) Recreation Programs for a garrison, or similar civilian operation.
• Willing to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually thereafter.
  
  

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":

• Work Experience directing/managing a Community Recreation Division at a Garrison, or similar civilian community, for at least one year.
• Three (3) years of supervisory experience.
• Demonstrates proficiency in understanding non-appropriated fund Operations to include NAF Major Construction and Capital Purchase Minor Construction (CPMC)

Allowances and Differentials

• This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
• Foreign overseas allowances, post allowance, and differentials will be paid, contingent upon eligibility. These allowances may include Living Quarters Allowance (LQA), Temporary Quarters Subsistence Allowance (TQSA) and requires a Transportation Agreement in accordance (IAW) the provisions of the Department of States Standardized Regulations (DSSR).
