Data Center Engineer - #1001406

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Deliver best-practice systems and resolve issues for all data center electrical and mechanical infrastructure, including UPS, MV electrical systems, generators, and cooling systems.

• Perform frequent site interventions, critical switching activities, troubleshooting, and infrastructure repair.

• Maintain the highest safety standards and promote a world-class safety culture in all operational procedures.

• Drive continuous improvement efforts through standardization of procedures and policies, delivering performance against agreed metrics.

• Ensure operational excellence and 100% uptime for all customer-supporting infrastructure.

• Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Knowledge of key electrical competencies and theory.

• Hands-on experience with Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) infrastructure such as diesel generators, switchgear, UPSs, PDUs, AHUs, fire detection systems, and building automation systems.

• Ability to work at heights, from ladders, and in noisy environments with appropriate protection.

• Experience in data center engineering is preferred.

• Knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, Controls) is preferred.
