We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager to oversee and ensure the highest standards of quality in our SMT production plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management, experience in the electronics manufacturing industry, and a deep understanding of SMT processes will be additional assets.
What You Will Do
- Quality Assurance: Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and increase efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a quality team, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
- Continuous improvement: Support investigation and analysis of quality issues both sporadic and chronical using methodologies like 8D or DMAIC.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action records.
- Customer Interaction: Liaise with customers to address quality concerns, provide feedback, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and certifications (e.g. IATF, ISO 9001, IPC standards).
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within an SMT production environment.
- Strong knowledge of SMT processes, equipment, and materials.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in quality management tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., CQE, CQM) is a plus.
